Service Description
This service is for those who would like two of their dogs to go together on a semi-private forest walk, and who choose the forest walk because they know their fur babies either need a bit more external stimulation or for those whose arthritic joints need the soft forest floor to cushion their stride. The walk or hike itself is 80 minutes plus travel time (either walking or driving to/from trail) so it takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours especially if traveling to and from North or West Vancouver where endless dog friendly trails await. This service includes pick up, clean up, drop off and pictures/video clips. Images and video clips may also be posted on Instagram. Your dogs will be clipped to their seatbelts for added safety during the drive and will enjoy a luxury orthopaedic memory foam bed to travel on while they gaze through the windows en route to the forest! One of the two dogs will have a GPS tracker clipped to their collar or harness so you can see exactly the trail your dogs take. It's also an added safety measure if you prefer your dog to have off leash time and s/he occasionally wanders after a squirrel. Free warm up stimulating massage is always included to help ensure no muscle or tendon strains on the walk. This is also an excellent option for those who are considering massage & acupressure but who know their dog will do better with a therapist they have formed a bond with first. Although my core services are massage and acupressure, the forest walk allows me to observe how your dogs distribute their weight on their legs and assess their overall conformation. This helps set the foundation for more focused and effective treatment in our future sessions.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Services • All booked massage, acupressure, near-infrared red laser therapy, walking and pet sitting services are due no later than the day of service scheduled. e-Transfer is the preferred payment method and a free Soul Paws package of treats will be offered as an extra thank you! • All 5, 10 or 20 packages are discounted and requested available time slots are reserved for the duration of the package commencing on the first day of service. Payment for package deals are required no later than 24 hours prior to the first scheduled session in the package. Cancellation/Change Requests & Refunds • Provide 24 hours' notice for cancellation of bodywork or dog walking sessions. Rebooking of sessions will be based upon availability of your preferred time slot(s). Payment is required at or prior to the service provided for non-package sessions. • For pet sitting cancellations, please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for a 100% refund. Payment is required no later than 48 hours prior to the date of pet sitting services. Soul Paws understands that unforeseen circumstances can impede planned events, and therefore will do everything reasonable to accommodate any change requests. Soul Paws reserves the right to retain $75 (the first day) of a last minute (less than 24hrs) cancelled 7-day pet sitting booking.
